Earthy and roasted malt stout. A fairly simple stout but it is tasty enough. Something you could have a pint of and not think about too much.

Sample at the tap room. Flat black color with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aromas. Mediumj body with flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and a touch of hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Bainbridge Island, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light cocoa, some toasted malt and a little residual sweetness. Flavour is robust, with licorice, cocoa and some roast. Fairy full-bodied, with light residual sweetness. Solid stout.
