Hazy golden pour, big, frothy white head. Very yeasty aroma, lots of tropical fruit, some alcohol too. Very lively carb, very full mouth feel. Finish is lightly bittter with a subtle sweetness. More tropical fruit, lots of yeast and bready cereals. A well rounded example of the style.

Pours clear gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Honey and hay aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and honey upfront turning to hot hay before the medium length earthy hop finish.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy dark blond color, with generous head. Compared to most Belgian examples, this is sweeter and way fruitier, but the esters are very nice, no artificial components, no soap; balanced, yet the spices make a statement; well balanced, with layers of different elements.
Excellent.

750mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a cloudy dull copper golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lovely Belgian and champagne yeast, medium candied sugar, and a little bubblegum. Flavour is along the same lines, with Belgian yeast, champagne yeast, and candied sugar. Medium carbonation, with a lovely balance between candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Excellent stuff.

Bottle - Light grassy notes, some grains and very pleasant sweetness. Clear gold with a rich bubbly head. Sweet and pleasant light malts, effervescent, touch of yeast and a clean finish. A little boring in the taste, but a nice beer.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with great retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt notes with dry yeast notes is intriguing. Taste is also dominated by sweet malt notes with some dry yeast notes. Body is lighter than expected with great carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. I’m not sure the Champagne yeast is a major improvement over their regular yeast since it appears to hide all of the interesting ester away.
