Draft - Light caramel notes. Clear dark gold with a good white head.. Dark malts, light twig and a clean finish. Boring, but OK.

On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is nearly non-existent on the nose. Flavour is not much more exciting, with light bready malts and a little hops to balance. Very boring and bland amber ale, but drinkable.

Draught at brewpub
Hazy amber color with creamy head. Simple Amber, with just a bit of caramel aroma and flavor, rather dry, and a bit too much bitterness, which doesn’t carry notable hop qualities. Light fruitiness too.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark amber with a creamy tan head. Light caramel aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with a bit of coffee hint? Finishes mildly bitter. Quite nice amber.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours deep clear copper to amber in color with off white head. The aroma is full and seems roasty, burnt, nutty and mildly like caramel malts. The taste starts sweet with caramel malts and then a sharp jab of burnt malts works its way quickly through. Once the black patent like burnt malts recede some mild roasty – malty – malts sweetness is noticed again. Very burnt and very roasty for an amber.

Amber colour. Light caramel aroma. Toasty notes and light caramel in the light body. Flavor profile is just that simple. OK starter beer. Looking forwward to my next visit, when they’ll actually have a decent range of their own beers on, and a few brews under their belt as well.
