Cask-conditioned at the DJW in WIllenhall, 12/11/2015. Golden with a decent, white, head. Aroma of tangerine fruit, grassy hops and a touch of creamy malt. Flavour had a touch of biscuity malt, more fruits and a dryish finish. Good.

Burnley Beer Festival 2015. A very lightly pale golden coloured ale. Hoppy, but not overly so given its name. There’s some sweet malts in here too and a fair amount of sugar. Subsequently tried the bottle version and it was similar but perhaps with a better pale ale profile.

Bottle from B&M. Clear gold. Thin, but lasting, white head. Fusty, slightly buttery hop. Hint of lemon. Hint of spice. Taste is light bitter. Fresh palate. Fairly zingy. Finishes fresh and dry bitter. Taking into account the length of time I’ve had this, and the initial cost, then this is very decent.
