“Doppel” meaning “double,” this style is a bigger and stronger version of the lower-gravity German-style bock beers. Originally made by monks in Munich, the dopplebock beer style is very food-friendly and rich in melanoidins reminiscent of toasted bread. We add our own twist with the addition of our house roasted coffee. A dark brown body with aromas of coffee, malts, caramel sweetness, ending with a bitter finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a cloudy deep amber with an off-white head. The nose is completely dominated by dusty, herbal coffee acents. There may be a hint of sweet roasted malts underneath. Medium body, hard roast malt and dry and distinct coffee notes. Coffee astringency in the finish. The coffee is really dominant. 290111

bottle thanks to StFun, pours hazy dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, sweet coffee.....very nice aroma. Flavor is complex with green raisin, brown sugar, coffee, nuts, bitter cocoa. This is a great beer, very flavorful and the coffee adds a neat backbone to the classic doppelbock flavors without dominating. ISO more!!!
