Bottle at Borefts 2012 - Bodegraven. Pours light, hazy gold with a fine, creamy head. Toasted malts in the nose, some dry pine, berries, pineapple. Medium to big sweet flavor, very fruity, with modest bitterness, light spices, tropical fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly sticky, with toasty grass and ripe fruits. So so.

33cl bottle picked up at the De Molen bottle shop pours with a clear amber body that exhibits copper hues and supports a tan head of foam. The mild aroma offers up a mix of sweet malts, some cherry like esters and an earthy date sort of sensation along with earthy to slightly resiny hops. The taste is similar as sweet malts and some sweet cherry like esters mix with some roasted malts. The modest hops show up with mild floral notes, a bit of vague hop bitterness and a sliver of citrus. It gets a tad resiny into the finish which enhances the experience.
