Bottle: Poured a deep hazy copper color ale with a medium size foamy head with medium retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light bitter stale hops is not really interesting. Taste is also dominated by stale bitter hops with lightly sweet caramelized malt backbone. Body is average with medium carbonation. This one is lacking seriously a hops punch and some character.

Bottle at the brewery during the RBESG 2013 weekend. Poured a clear chestnut brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is a weak dry malt, leading to a medium bitter flavour with some hop bitter citrus notes on the smooth palate. Another winner from Emelisse!

Bottle @ Emelisse. Slight hazy dark red color, short head. Aroma of caramel and toffee, soft grapefruit. Lacks a bit of hop aroma for an IPA and is more dominated by the malt backbone. Medium bitter taste, hint of sweet malts. Nicely balanced, but again lacks some hops.

300ml bottle. Cloudy darkest amber to brown colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Unspecific fruity and minimally herbal hoppy aroma, caramel malty background. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, piney, minimally herbal hoppy overtones, a mineral touch close to metallic.

Bottle, 6.5%. Yeasty aroma. Cloudy dark amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite roasted, a little yeasty weak hop note. OK balanced, but has red in its name.
