Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Tiny yeast particles floating around. Light lacing. Aroma of orange marmalade, tea and fried tomato. Flavour of bergamot, pear and tangerine. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Subtle, swiggable and tasty.

Tap at De Wildeman, 19th December 14. Poured almost clear, nice bergamot aroma, with hops. The taste is clean and the bergamot well integrated. Nice stuff

500ml bottle: BBD Oct 15, drank in Nov 14. No mention of Emelisse on the bottle. Old gold in colour with a good white head. The nose a fruity mix with a citrus hint leading the way. Taste similar but with a mild tea trace or two, lingering bitter finish: interesting more than wonderful. Hides the alcohol well and nicely carbonated.

Bottle @ All In Beer Fest 2014. Pours hazy pale golden with a small white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and tiny fruity with biscuits, crackers, grapefruit, bergamot, grass and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, slightly malty and slightly fruity with graham crackers, grapefruit, black tea, bergamot, grass, pine and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round, astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter with biscuits, earl gray tea, grass and lemon zest. Ok for what it is but not a huge fan of the tea element in an IPA…

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - big tangy oranges. A mineral backdrop. Taste - more oranges going into marmalade. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy and rich texture that still manages to finish dry and balanced finish. Overall - lovely beer.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden on 14th November 2014. Clear amber with thinning, loose shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Complex aroma with grapefruit, tangerine and sophisticated touch of smoke. Sweet tangerine and delicate smoke in-mouth; Earl Grey tea notes developing in finish which is fine and delicate. A light mouthfeel and reasonable amount of body. This is a classy novelty ale from Marble, and a must!

500ml Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2014) - Golden in colour. Tea, lemon, grapefruit and peach all feature in the enticing aroma. Nicely balanced taste with notes from the bergamot and the hops combining to good effect. Very refreshing and almost dangerously drinkable for the abv.
