19/X/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 11/III/13 (2012-1151) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear copper red beer, lots of chunks floating around under a big aery off-white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: clearly infected, rotten leafs, sour, rotten fruits. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sour, rotten fruits, bit smoky (?), sugary, dry and dusty. Aftertaste: dusty, some smoke again?, rotten fruits, sourish. Really bad stuff.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Cloudy hazy dark orange to amber colored beer, small off-white lacing. Yeast particles present. Smell is weird: malts, herbs or spices. I think spices, smells lightly like pepper. Taste malts, spices, slightly bitter hints. Average carbo and body.

(bottle) Hazy, orange-copper golden coloured hue with lots of ugly floaties and a big slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and coriander-spicy aroma with cara-malt, light fruity and floral notes. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty, biscuity and slightly yeasty taste with loads of coriander and subtle fruity notes; moderately sweet malty and spicy finish. Too spicy for my liking. 03.XII.09

Brownish sediment pour, tho not too dark. Things are hangin out in there. Sweet and volatile olfactory. Alky yeast flavors with odd fermented fruit effects. Almost tart at times. Belgie fer sure; tho alky, comes across refined. Soemwhat weird barn farmy carboard or rotting old wet hay finish.
