Dry, sour, with a hint of raisin. Pronounced notes of cherry pie and horse blanket, the hallmarks of Brettanomyces. Over a year in used French oak wine barrels contributes notes of toasted oak and vanilla. Wonderfully complex and definitely cellar-able.

Bottle - Dried cherry and some oak. Deep reddish brown with almost no head. Tart, a touch of balsamic, cherry and woody notes. Not bad, too bad its not a regular.

On tap. Pours a dark garnet red/brown. Aromas of sour dark fruit, balsamic vinegar, and wet wood. Flavors follow same with a touch of chocolate and more dark cherry. Nicely balanced and flavourful. Moderately sour. A little chewy for the style but very nice
