Bottle, thanks to Vinnie! Clear blond colour with pale white head. Aroma is bit of tropical fruit, but very slight. Not a great deal of aroma to be honest. Taste is similar, bit of pineapple. Very easy to drink, but not really that exciting. Was surprised that it was not more in your face. Think this one passed me by a bit.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Apple and hints of grapefruit and floral hops in the aroma. Grassy floral hopbitter flavor with notes of apple and citrus. Shortish hopbitter aftertaste. Nice beer

2 June 2018. Dag van de Kriek, at 'In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst'. Shared with Anke. Best before: probably more than two years ago; bottle was old and dusty, the label peeling off.
Pours hazy golden with a small, frothy, white head; little lacing. 'Dankish' aroma of wort, mouldy banana & orange, toast & honey, hint of (cooked) cauliflower, earth & leaves, floral hops, some pine. It tastes medium malty sweet, some bread & fruits (mango, pineapple), and light to medium hoppy bitter, with earth & yeast notes. Dryish, hoppy finish, lingering earth & grass. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Probably past its prime, yet the ageing didn't make it a bad beer (setting the high carbo aside). If you thought the Belgian Ale style was as dead as a doornail, think again.

Samea, hailakankeltainen olut kohtalaisella valkoisella vaahdolla. Raikkaan hedelmäisessä tuoksussa ainakin kiiwiä, sitrusta ja belgihiivaa. Maku hedelmäinen, melko kuiva ja hapan, hienoista mausteisuuttakin havaittavissa. Suutuntuma on keskitäyteläinen, hiilihappoja kevyesti. Oikein kiva saison-tyyppinen olut.

Session blonde with Motuecha hops. Off-white, sticky head, hazy golden blonde colour. Aroma of peach, bread, orange peel, green apple, vanilla, melon, field flowers; accessible yet treacherous complex palate, relatively sharp carbo, dry fruitiness, vivid spiciness, bready malt sweetishness in the background, spicy finish with refreshing grassy hops. If only all the top-fermented session blondes were like this.
