Mohawk Extra IPA är en extrem öl, helt i den amerikanska västkustens ölbryggartradition med mängder av hulme, hög alkoholhalt och enorm komplexitet. Färgen är guldgul med dragning åt bärnsten. Doften har kraftigt humlearomatiska islag med tydlig citrus arom och torkad frukt. Smaken är nyanserad med kraftig humlebeska och läng eftersmak. Mohawk Extra IPA bryggs med pilsner-, pale-, munich-, och crystal malt, samt humlesorterna Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Magnum och Simcoe.

Bottle from Nisse666, cheers Thomas! It pours clear golden amber with a small white head. The nose is pine, grass, orange, tangerine, bread and faint caramel. The taste is assertively bitter, pine needles, earth, grass, resin and zesty grapefruit with a dry, bitter finish. Long finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice level of bitterness. Good all-round IPA.

Flaska @ Systembolaget. Smutsfärgad bärnsten. Intensiv doft av grape, citrus och en hint av tobak. Kraftig beska balanserad av maltsötma. Medellång eftersmak.

Fantastiskt, detta är den ale som fått mig att gilla beska. Full av tropiskfrukt och beska som grapefrukt. Välbalanserad. Jag skulle kunna leva på denna en månad.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hued body with a small white head, Aromas are of tropical fruits, citrus, pine, herbal and estery with some biscuit like malt. Flavors are tropical fruit, hoppy, dry, medium bitter, good balance, dry. Very tasty IPA.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Ronny, 30/12/12. Slightly obscured mid amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edge and leaves a thin film. Nose is hops, sugars, bitter orange, mandarin, pine. Taste comprises hops, pine, bitter orange, grapefruit, mineral tones. Full end of medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Excellent IPA!

Bottle at Chriso’s tasting 30/12/12. Hazy orange brown with a thin white head. Slightly herbal piny aroma. Highly carbed. Long lasting bitterness.

Bottle shared at tasting. Hazy orange pour with an off white head. Aroma is very fruity, citrus, grapefruit and some caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
