Dull light brown with red, barrel, touch of acetic, tons of tartness, barrels, different bugs, assertive brew for Duchesse fans.

On tap at Cascade, pours a murky dark mahogany with basically no head. Nose smells very vinegary, with tart cherries, followed by oak - dominated by vinegar. Flavour is insanely vinegary, mouth-puckeringly so, with tart cherries further back. Complex, but way too vinegary. A nice slow sipper, but it's a bit difficult to drink.

Tap at CBH. Pours murky ruddy brown with no head. Sour red brown ale aroma. Med body. Very aceticly sour. Flavor is essentially Flemish red of the better sort. Finishes tart and sour. Delicious.

On tap at Sourfest. Pours with a lightly hazed amber-red hued body with a small, off-white ring. Aromas are super acidic, floral, oak, fruity, plum, mild cherry skins. Flavors are fruity and clean, pretty acidic, mildly acetic, fruit, estery and dry. Slightly warming. Cherries. Lower carbonation, puckering, warming.

On tap at the Barrel House. Pours a dark red color with a medium white head. The aroma is rich woody and vinous notes, very big cherries. The flavor is awesome;heavy cherries, sweet and sour, big vinegar, huge tannins, vinous, grape skins. Awesome,my favorite of the night.
