Roast and a little tin. Pours brown with decent head. Bitter finish, decent malt character, good for style. Pleasant afternoon beer. Can.

Poured from the tap. Medium dark brown with small beige head. Lots of toasted nuts, some bread crust, hint of hop finish. Decent.

Has a nice muddy brown with minimal head. The aroma is soft roasted barley. The flavour is sharp malts with soft coffee hints. Medium finish. Simply okay if not spectacular.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown color. The presence of ashy malts is evident immediately; the mouthfeel is very dry; it has some aroma and flavor of burnt bread; very light sourness from the roasted malt. Should appeal to a small audience.

Draft - Some dark roast and cocoa notes with a touch of dark fruit sweetness. Deep dark brown with a rich beige head. Dark roast, light cocoa and some toast. Light body and easy drinking with lots of flavor. Would be a home run with a lower abv.

On tap at Brassneck, pours a hazy amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is all English, with toasted nuts, crusty bread, and light hops. Flavour is mild but poignant, with toasted nuts, some dry crusty bread and very pronounced English hops. Extremely well-balanced and well-crafted. Great mild.

Light brown. Husky, nutty aroma, sweetish, husky thin finish. Damn, I know Brassneck can make a good mild, but this isn’t it for me.
