Can at home. Aroma is rich malt, caramel, pine resin and citrussy hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Nice robust malt profile with hoppy notes, very smooth and chewy. I like this.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have an interesting mix of bitter hops and dark sweet malts. Lingering bittersweet caramel in the finish.

Dark brown with ruby highlights and a tan head. It really is a pretty beer. Light citrus notes, a bit of pine, some sweet malts, light toasted biscuit. Medium bitter finish that’s a bit dry. Solid brew. Isn’t an amber ale pretty much a dark pale ale? Cut out the gimmicky BS, breweries.

Can from WBM. Grey Skies Dark Pale Ale pours a deep mahoganey brown with a thick light beige head of foam that has great staying power & leaves soapy lacing behind. The nose is sweet nutty bready chocolate with light hop notes. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. The taste is toasted malts, toffee, nuts, cacao and a slight bitter bready character. Quite a nice beer. It paired very well with a Japanese "cream pan".

On tap at Two Beers, pours an opaque dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals dirty earthy notes, yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite pleasant, with earthy notes upfront and a decent hoppy kick. Dirty but pleasant - full of flavour and well-balanced. Good.
