Clouds the colour of concrete curtain the sky, and frowning like Judges, they let loose their verdict: "Rain for everyone! Hard Rain!". Small animals scurry for cover, weatherman fly south like geese. Water pummels the streets, gathers into gangs and run the gutters. The rest of us just hunker in for another Wet Coast Deluge, humming "...good times are coming, but they’re sure coming slow."

Bright, golden-amber, thin head. A lot of cool hops in this brew, but there’s no distinctive signature. On the palate, malts jump out first, biscuity with a slight toffee note. Hops are orangey with some orchard fruit accents, mostly pear. Touch of alcohol late. For a malt-forward Dipa, this is quite good.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very clear copper color with light head. Aromas of pine, tropical fruit, rubber and sweet malts. Flavors of bitter citrus peel, pine, toffee, and dry toasted malts. Not sure why the other ratings are so low. No vegetal notes in this one. A nice clean IIPA albeit in a category where there are many other similar offerings.

Tasting at Matt’s
Reddish amber color, frothy irregular head. Strong Ale, lean body (not too sweet), strong bitterness, but it has a strong vegetable component, tomatoes and beans.
Bold but messy.

Bottle - Earthy resinous hops. Cleanish orange copper with white head. Earthy, Woody hops and a vegetal finish.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings earthy hop notes and some biscuity notes. Flavour is dry, bringing out earthy hops, dry spiciness, and biscuity malt to back. No sweetness, which is nice, but this is bizarre and not very thriling. Not good.
