A full, rich and smooth stout. A creamy, full body leading with coffee, vanilla and chocolate.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. The nose holds dark fruits, chocolate. Medium sweet flavour with some raisins, more cocoa, moderate roast. Medium bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, some dark sugars, more dark fruits, smooth cocoa. Solid. I like it.

650 ml bottle. Pour black with a short tan head. Aromas of creamy chocolate and sharp roasted malts. Maybe a bit of black coffee. Flavors follow same. Additional vanilla and cola. Nice mix of creamy and sharp

Keg @ Doghouse. Black with a thin white head. Cereal aroma, taste is cereal, biscuit, a little dark chocolate. Neither give away the ABV. Very tasty

[3/1/15] Draught at Reubenβs Brews in Seattle. Black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, some chocolate and a bit of fruity notes. Bittersweet roasty flavor with coffee, chocolate and a bit of fruitiness. Rather full-bodied.

Draft - Roasty chocolate. Deep jet black with a decent light brown head. Bitter roast malts and a long slick oatmeal finish. Not bad, but not as interesting as some of the others.

Tap at the brewery - overly roasty, overly bitter, quite astrigent imperial stout - rough and hard to enjoy, really - very harsh finish - pass.

On tap @ the brewery during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours an orangish brown appearance with a brown head. Definitely get the oats in the nose. Seems a bit sweet and chocolate-y. Flavor is a little twangy. Some plum and red grape notes. Dark chocolate. Pretty fruity. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. One of my last favorites here.

Draught at the brewery
Dark color, almost black, with compact beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee, some cardboard. The mouthfeel is fairly dry, not as strong as expected; the roasted malt dominates, there is just a hint of chocolate, and some molasses. Strange.
