R&B Brewing and the BC SPCA bring you a limited edition Rauchweisen to bring awareness to animals in need. A portion of every bottle sold goes to the BC SPCA. Smoked malt and home smoked hops are used to give this light, crisp, filtered wheat ale a hint of smokiness. Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color, small head. Dry, with light wheat flavor and very light smoke, and a metallic touch. Some rubber smell, paper and vegetables. Ordinary bitterness.
Not exciting.

Growler. Hazy light tan, with a thin head. The aroma is lightly smoky, with some funky yeastiness as well. On the palate, the smoke comes through a bit more, but the dull yeastiness is still there. The malts are pale and a little bit sticky. All told, it’s just not sharp enough to really appeal to me.

Hazy gold, small white head.Nose of stale smoke and light fruit.Palate has the old familiar"ashtray" taste,(dirty line for draught) vague smoke and fruit.Very late light hop finish. A poor beer for a great cause.

Bottle - Light bacony and smoke. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Very light smoke and sweet wheat notes. Much too light in smoke for my taste.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a gay blonde with a small white head. Aroma is light, with subtle smoke and a touch of wheat. Flavour brings out dry wheat and a subtle hint of smoke. Pleasant enough but pretty boring. Drinkable.
