A deep dark stout with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee, light alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, light coffee notes, alcohol warmth, well done. On tap at Feral location.

(Tap) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of cocoa, dough; intense, balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish

650 ml bottle, spilt 3 ways. Received in trade. Bottle date 10/26/2016. Aroma is nice amount of bourbon, chocolate, ash, coffee grinds. The flavor is chocolate with solid bittering in the middle of the base. The bourbon is bold in the finish but not overly hot. Nice mild warming after the sip without alcohol presence. Pretty good falls a tad short of the aroma.

Tasting at Matt’s; 10% ABV
Black color, small head. The aroma of chocolate blends with vanilla, tobacco, talc, very nice. Lean body; chocolate and roasted malt on the same level, with a hint of liquorice, little sweetness, but it also ends a bit dusty. More astringent than your typical imperial Stout, and than the BA version.
Nice but not fully satisfying.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and more chocolate. Flavour brings out lots of roasted malt, some slightly sweetened cocoa, and a touch of licorice. Quite cohesive, rich and balanced, with a slightly bitter finish. Very good stuff.
