375 mL bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a huge off-white head. Very caramelly and fruity aroma, with grape leading the fruit aromas. I know this is the base beer, but I swear it smells and tastes like it’s been wood-aged. Really I think it’s just some lightly oxidized hops, lending a nice aged feel to it. Beyond that it’s got grape, grapefruit, resin, and caramel in there, without a whole lot of bitterness. A little bit of a sticky finish. Not bad; kind of has some nice barley wine aspects to it.

375 ml bottle. The lightest of the four in color, massive tan ice cream cone head with great retention. Aroma of rising bread dough, slight citrus. Plenty more citrus in the taste, nicely bitter throughout without being overwhelming. Great body. My favorite of the series.

(Re-rate, bottle,0.375, at Pikkulintu) The beer had turned very dry. Both the aroma and the taste were the such resembling a barley wine. A pity they have put this beer in barrels. (Bottle at Pikkulintu) A hazy and amber beer. Aroma was quite hoppy and also strongly malty - as would be expected. Palate was bit too fizzy. Flavour was closer to the boozy and hoppy mess DIPAs way too often are also quite musty. The flavour wasn’t really bad, it was just too messed up. Aftertaste was bitter. Old rating: 8-3-7-3-12

Bottled. Hazy golden color, short white head. Aroma of some vegetable like hop, bit malty of munich malt, hardly any yeast aroma. Soft bitter taste, bit malty. Quite boring stuff.

Cloudy golden with a small off-white head. Vineous hop aroma. Dry and hoppy flavour with a little malt in the background. Honestly I had a hard time picking up noticable differences in a side-by-side-by-side-by-side.
