Growler from the LCBO. Jet black pour, medium beige head. Quite chocolaty Aroma, with some light smoke, I was expecting much more. The coffee seems lost, hints of it poke through but it’s very much in the foreground. The coffee comes forward in the end with some big bitter earthy notes, and solid roasty coffee beans. Bitter cocoa, and some more subtle smoke round it out with a light to medium bitterness.

This raunchbier poured a deep black colour with a brown, creamy head. Really nice lacing. Scents include dark roast coffee, dark cocoa, smoke and a light yeast. First swig was very creamy. Flavours of coffee, cocoa and ash. Finish is really creamy with delicious burnt flavours lingering.

Enjoyed on tap at Thirsty & Miserable in Toronto, ON while my band was playing a show in the area. I really wish I took tasting notes for this one. Due to the USD to CAD conversion rate this was super cheap and I wish I had more, very good smoky stout, would have again.

Dark brown. Mega coffee nose, can’t smell anything else. Taste the same...heavy-handed coffee. No smoke found. Thick, strong body.

Draft - Smoke, peat and roast malts. Deep jet brown with a brown head. Peaty and smokey with a woody roast finish. Nice.
