A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, OK.

Pours with a huge and heavy creamy white head and nice foggy copper body with heavy carbonation. Aroma of fresh baked lemon bread, malt hints, candy notes. Flavour is a bright affair of lemon and malty sweetness, hints of vague hops on the back end, with a medium finish. Highly drinkable, very well done, good news that another microbrewery can do something different in a crowded market.

Draft - biscuit and pale malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light malts and some light hops. Innocuous.

Beautiful copper color, cloudy, with compact head. Mild aroma, some malt, delicate fruity touch, possibly some butter. Soft mouthfeel; mild malt and caramel flavor, with a very light biscuity touch, light residual sweetness, light fruity esters; ordinary bitterness level. Easy but pleasant.

Amber color, clean. Mild aroma, with some malt. Soft mouthfeel, light malt flavor, light bread, a bit too much carbonation; the final is rather weak. Simple but ok.

Bronze, toasyy malts and fruitu c hop. Pretty good balance though without the hop brightness of benchmark examples.

On tap at Black Kettle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, floral hops and a little caramel. Flavour brings out candied sugar, biscuity notes and floral hops. Pretty restrained, with a maltier balance. Decent pale ale - on the maltier side.
