Our Affable IPA is generously hopped late in the brewing process with American aroma hops that give it a piney, fruity, floral bouquet without imparting heavy bitterness. This beer is all about the nose - a light body and moderate bitterness allow the finishing and dry hops to shine through with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and pine.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is soft grains and vague hops. Looks like mellow orange with some little foam on top. Flavour is okay hops with grain way in the background. Mouthfeel is a bit weak. An okay IPA but not memorable.

Poured from the tap at the brewery. Mostly clear golden with white head. Mild grass and tropical hops with overpowering resin finish. A little unbalanced.

Small can with Ilya in Porteau Cove. Canned on 2017-02-17. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is very pleasant with tropical fruits and citrusy notes. Taste is slightly sweet, with lots of citruses, caramel, tropical fruits, slightly grassy and piney. Moderate bitterness. Very nice and pleasant!

Draft - Light sweet citrus and Mandarin. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Orange peel, nice bitterness and a balanced sweetness. Flavours not as clean as the nose but not bad.

On tap at 12 Kings Pub, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out lovely piney and herbal hops. Flavour reveals similar notes of herbal hops, some pine and vegetal notes. Just enough malt to back. A little too much of the vegetal quality, but it's still a nice piney IPA. Good beer, needing a little refinement.

Clean blond colour. Modern concept, crisp malt base, just mild quality from those hops.
Pleasant.

Hazy blond color with small compact head. The hop aroma is well defined, a bit animal. Very dry mouthfeel, lean and good pale malt flavor; very strong bitterness, with a lot of hop oils and hop resins, lightly citrusy. Must be perfect in summer, and it's working well with the greasy food I'm having. Very good first attempt.

Light bronze. Mandarin nose with a bit of ripe fruit bitterness. A bit heavy on the malts but a decent IPA.
