Aiming for de koninck but doing it the wrong way, with high temperature (maybe, I’m guessing), leading to overly estery, phenolic character.

Draft - Sweet cherry, perfume and some Belgian yeast. Cloudy reddish orange with. A decent white head. Malty, cherry and a long cherry finish. Odd, but I like it. Like a weak Flemish red.

On tap at West Seattle brewpub. Pours out a nice mahogany topped with a small head. Aroma of sweet berries and spice. Tast was of sweet honey, light spice and rich malt. With a tail of yeast.
