Bottle. Deep brown in color with a light tan, small head. Aroma was light toffe, with very slight hoppy notes. Taste is very similar. Smoky caramel upfront with a light bitter finish.

Many thanks for this Altbier to Koelschtrinker. Poured into Hannen Alt stange. Jest spora lekko waniliowej barwy trwala piana, rubinowy czerwono-krwisty kolor, podczas kolejnego nalewania do szklanki 250ml juz bylo zmetnione brazowo-purpurowy kolor. W smaku sporo palonych slodow, jest wyraziste, chlebowe, taka rumiana skorka swiezego pieczywa, troche tostow, gofry z dzemem, sliwki, wisnie, daktyle i czerwone winogrona. nuta karmelu. Udany produkt

From the bottle. Chestnut brown with a creamy, light beige head that slowly fades. Aroma of red apple, toffee, toast. Taste is mildly bitter with notes of ashes and apple cider. Body is medium, clingy, carbonation is mild. Finishes dry, bitter, and herbal. Good.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, dried fruit and maple syrup. Pours hazy dark brown color with medium soapy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and dried fruit, following is grassy and lightly roasted, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is medium bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. I can’t detect any smoked notes, but doesn’t bother me at all, it’s a big beer anyway...

"Freigeist Hoppeditz", Flasche (50 cl) von Beereau/Beerellion, Berlin. - Dunkles Kastanienrotbraun, schwach trüb. - In der Nase kerniger zitrusfruchtig-harziger Hopfen, v.a.

Buddel: Ruby-amber coloured, hazy, small persistent tanned head with a little lace; moderate sweet-bitter aroma of dried fruits, toasted malt, caramel and mainly herbal hops; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and sticky; lingering and drier caramelly and bitter finish, hops sticking to the palate in the aftertaste. Quite good, but nevertheless not perfectly balanced...
