This light amber IPA is brewed with fresh cascade and centennial hops grown on Persephone’s farm. This beer has an aroma of orange and grapefruit, a subtle citrusy, grassy flavour with a light caramel malt background.

One thing’s for sure in this world - trying to follow the plot of Goonies while drunk is a tall order. But thisun’s got a modest hoeadand foggy orange body, rather meh like all the other IPA’s you dun seen through yers lifetime. Great pamplemousse aroma, fruity and sour and sweet, but not too complicated. Flavour is a lot of oily hops, fruity and sour notes, dry finish. A good textbook IPA that does not transcend, but is pretty darn good nonetheless.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy amber color. Lean pale ale, with a mild but original fruity aroma and flavor, stone fruits. Correctly bitter. The malt profile is simple, yet appropriate and pleasant, a bit biscuity.

Golden-amber, with a thin head. The aroma has a light citrusy, slightly woody character. Earthy taste with some biscuity amber malts, subtle bitterness if low alpha hops. Not IPA hoppy, but well-balanced amber.

650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of grassy/floral hops and toasted malts.Flavors are similar but stronger with additional bready and resin notes. OK, but I’ve come to expect better from Persephone.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly herbal, with hempy hops and floral notes - almost smoky too. Flavour is beautifully bright, with complex herbal and floral hops, and just enough malt sweetness to back. Robust flavours balanced perfectly. Great IPA.
