spiced rye and fruit in the nose. A medium-thin head with lacing. Very tasty rye IPA featuring grapefruit and lemon in the hops, a touch of pepper and other spices and the added punch of partial replacement of barley with rye. Really nice balance in the hops, with a little bite on top of the fruity aspects.

Great citrus punch from the hops with a great subtle spiciness I love from the rye. Lots of candied citrus peel, semi sweet malts, and spicy rye. A great beer.

2nd left. Starts fruity with orange and mango, full body, piney, dusty. Bitter orange. Harsh, but nice bitter finish. #AllHandsOnDeck

Had this beer so many times before, as a nice regular of theirs, but just realized I had not rated this one. It is time. Lightly hazy golden colour with an amber hue. White frothy head, smaller than most, average retention but with some thick creamy lacing and coating over the brew. Cereal malt base with some fruity notes and mild herbal hops. The mouthfeel is on the thicker side, but the hops cut this to a dry finish. Again, some light fruitiness in the flavours with decent grassy hops. Quite a nice well-balanced, not hopbomb, not juicy IPA.

Can 473ml (Beer Republic, once again - no date-info)
Orange-yellow colour, small steady white head and some lace. Citrus, riped fruits, rye in the nose. Medium-bodied. Citrus, fruits, light pine in the flavour. Bitterish finish. Not much rye-influence in the flavour. Very good IPA. Combines nice maltyness to decent bitterness.

Taste is citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon drops, minimally herbal-spicy, a touch of lemon balm, piney overtones, minimally peppery spicy, pale malty basis. Gentle carbonation, smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate.
