Bottle. A- Sweet potato, nutmeg, cinnamon, subtle vanilla. A- Reddish orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Spice, sweet potato, musty, pond water. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, unbalanced finish. O- Yuck. This tasted like sewer water. Naturally, I paired it with a baked sweet potato loaded with maple, marshmallow, and brown sugar. Even that couldnβt help the taste on this one.

Draft - Sweet Christmas spice and some orange. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Mulled orange and Christmas spices. Easy drinking and not over the top. Clove kept in check and well done.

Draft, sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Cinnamon, nutmeg and other baking spices. Interesting concept, but nothing too special here.

Draft, at Bent River. Burnished copper color. Looks a bit like a pumpkin pie beer. Tastes like it, with mostly spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Brewmaster said the idea was to lay down a base for a spicy beer, since potatoes add little more than fermatables to a beer. This is nicely turned out if you like spices outside of a hefeweiss.
