Pour is a uber lite looking gold with a large white head. Aroma is a clean pale lager malt. Flavor is more pale malt with a nice hop bite bitterness on the back end. Did not have much of a look or body to it but there was a decent flavor.

My can says Buckey Beer. Pour is fairly clear lighter pale. Nose is simply clean fresh pale lager. Rather OK, seems a little processed up front, but doesn't have many ill attributes. Sucking this down after a workday. Goes down rather easy. No real bitter sensations in this. At first, I wasn't impressed, but as I near the end, it kinah grows on you. Not bad. Good level of co2 throughout the session. Decent easy drinking friendly beer.

12oz can pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is light grain some straw and grassy hops. Taste is more of the nice grain grass and some corn husk.

Tap at Maumee. Soft and mellow on the palate. Classical, clean, easy drinking.

Draft - Loght pale malts and grains. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet pale malts, light fruit and residual sweetness.

Location: 12 oz bottle shared by a friend, 1/15/10

Aroma: Corn, a drop of citrus, I could add other stuff but I'd be fibbing, there's not much going on with the nose on this one, not that I was surprised, it was too be expected
Appearance: Fizzy yellow water, fizzy white head
Flavor: Taste is water, cereal, corn, and a lot more water
Palate: As watery as it was, I'll give it a (small) bump becuase it's clean
Overall Impression: When we were drinking this, someone actually commented that it tasted like Miller Lite with a different label. That's not a bad description in as much as Miller Lite tastes like water and looks like yellow water. Maybe it seemed worse to me because it was stuck between some really good beers, but this stuff was just not good. From my notes: "Worked as a nice palate cleanser, I wanted some water but was too lazy to stand up and walk to the kitchen, this beer was a perfect substitute." That was apparently the nicest thing I had to say about it. Let's move along...

Way too soft and sweet sweet malts. Could use a bit more in the hop department to crisp it up a touch. It’s just too syrupy for me.

Sample at the brewpub: Clear straw color with an endless stream of bubbles and a wispy white head. Very little lacing is apparent. Light malt and grass aroma. Light-bodied and bland but has flashes of hoppiness here and there. The finish is round and lightly hopped with very little aftertaste. Would be an easy transitional beer from a Macro light but it’s really more of a lateral move than anything. Could try harder.

draft - Blech. Seriously, this one is crap. Don’t bother with it. It’s yet another fizzy, yellow, watery, mostly tasteless beer. In my opinion it’s even worse than the Bud it’s imitating. Sad.
