(On tap @ Lansdowne Brewery, Jan 13 2016) Pours deep amber brown with a moderate whitish head with lots of lace. Lemon zest and orange juice, caramel and toffee, a little pine. Palate is sweetish and malt forward but with some lemon, white grapefruit, and a good kick of pine bitterness. A little bread to what is mostly caramel malt at the core. Aftertaste has moderately high bitterness, resin, pith. Medium body, alcohol not totally hidden, average carbonation. Not quite as juicy as I’d like and a little malty, but a decent DIPA.

A hazed golden DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with loads of floral piney hops, citrus pulp, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a smooth fruity malt with grassy character, floral hops, grapefruit pulp, menthol, alcohol warmth, well done. On tap at c’est what beer fest.

Draft - Orange and pine hops. Clearish copper with a decent white head. Pine with lots of resin, caramel backbone with a nice mellow bitterness and a dry finish. Well balanced, but resin taste is a bit much.
