Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy to floral and piney hops meshing with some bready/crust-like malts
Flavor: tries to blend the hops to the malts but seems to fall a bit short and the beer seems to remain on the bitter side; mild finish of some malts and a touch of floral hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; hop assertiveness tends to be more aggressive and the smoothness is a lot weaker
Overall: so many IPA's on the market these days this one doesn't really tell me it wants me to give it another shot and part of me says I probably wouldn't.

It is an average IPA, classical taste of hop, malt, bitterness and dry sensation at the tongue and one small side of sweetness, 23.05.2016

Light brownish amber lacy foam. Lots of caramel malts. Hops bite. Pretty decent stuff.

Aroma of malts, caramel, citrus, tropical fruits such as grapefruit, mango, pine, herbal tea, aromatic hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a medium bitterness in the finish. A very tasty IPA.

Bottle 12oz: Clear amber coloured pretty hoopy of taste, American hops are bitter than European, in this case its works better. I like this brewery and its beers so far, because this my third review of an Anderson Valley beer.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven, het is een helder oranje rood achtig bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een fruitige en hoppige geur. De smaak is hoppig en sinaasappel achtig met een bittere afdronk.

Bottle. Orange blonde color. Grapefruit and oily, earthy hops in the aroma and flavor. Hints of plastic. Yeasty notes. OK.

Bottle at Cervecería Polar, Madrid. Pours cloudy dark orange, tan head. Aroma is marmalade, honey, jelly, quince, guava... Also dandelion, pine needle and coffee. Quite a wide array of scents, if you wanna know. Mouthfeel is slightly watery and light (a little shocking after the nose) with little CO2. Very bitter finish, as expected, that lasts long but not super-long. So-so.
