Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

Can from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye, Powys. Had this at home, Thursday 21st June 2018 sat by the pond. Pours dark gold edging towards light amber, white head atop. Fruity but also a little sweet, crystal malt here is quite dominant. It's hoppy but there is a stream of caramel also. Quite good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

From Feb 2008

I got this bottle in a trade with Wasatch. Thanks John!

As a preface, I've had this one before I started reviewing. I'm glad I got a chance to revisit.

It pours from 12oz bottle a clear medium gold and a 1 finger head of foam.

The smell is nice mix of caramel malt and hops.

The taste on first sip has both caramel malt and hops at the forefront with the hops being mostly floral and quite bitter.

Further sips in and the hops take over giving my mouth a nice bitter embrace but the malt isn't exactly overwhelmed; it's always there providing a good balance and makes this IPA very drinkable.

The mouthfeel is medium and it finishes with some citrus bitterness. I've always liked this brew and I'd have it again anytime I can get the chance.

Bottled about ten months ago. Clear amber pour. Well-lacing off-white head. Aroma: sweet malts, honey, distant fruit. Medium body. Bittersweet taste. Initially honey malts. Some caramel. The middle is much drier leading to medium bitter grapefruity finish. Well-tasting even being old. A fresher one would definitely smell better, too.

Keg at BD Aberdeen. It pours hazy reddish - amber with with a small beige head. The aroma is fresh, bright, grapefruit, lemon pith, oily, piney, resinous, toffee and bready. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, stingy pine, leather, peppery spice, alcohol and touch of toffee with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent IPA.

Can from Pivný raj. Very nice IPA from California. Sweetish taste supported by good level of hoppiness. Lovely long bitter finish. Tasty.

Tight white head stayed well on a still, hazy copper coloured body. Citrus, pine & malt aroma. Medium bodied. Smooth on the palate and nice & sharp on the back - just how I like it. Woody pine flavours with caramel, bitter pith, citrus, hops & malt hints.
