On Tap at the source. Clear copper pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is grassy, light UK hops, biscuity malts, slight bready also. Hints of toffee round it out, with a bit of dried hay. Mouthfeel, and carb are pretty standard. Finish is lightly bitter, with some cereals, and grassy notes to end.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy caramel brown color with an enormous foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty and toasty with a bit of wood followed by floral and fruity hops and a touch of cocoa. The flavor was bitter with cocoa, caramel, bread, fruity & floral hops. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear dark copper with a small quick fading white head. Nose is to toffee and bread with some floral hops. Light sweet caramel with a medium- bitterness and a touch of nuts. Medium creamy mouth with soft carbonation. Nice enough bitter. 7/3/7/3+/14

Draft - Grains, light twig and caramel. Hazy copper with a decent beige head. Caramel and twig. Typical English bitter, as close as I have seen from a foreigner. Unfortunately I prefer the sweeter interpretations.

A hazed dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, grassy malt with herbal hops, mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy hops, grainy notes, roasted coffee notes, OK. On tap at loose moose.

This bitter poured a deep cloudy amber colour with a short lived, tan coloured head. Scents include ripe fruit, caramel, a little rye and the tiniest bit of smoke. First sip was quite mild with a almost watery mouthfeel, almost no carbonation and flavours of malt, lightly bitter and a light soapy finish. Palate is mid/light bitter with weak malt flavours

Decent for style. Nice malt profile. Some light bitterness at the end with a little more hops than usual. Pours reddish orange with ok head and lacing. Average carbonation. Has light note of sweetness with bitterness. Tap at Barhop.
