A Classic since 1987
Balance is what makes our Boont Amber Ale so unique: rich, crystal malts give this beer a deep copper hue and contribute a slight caramel sweetness while the herbal, spicy bitterness from carefully selected whole-cone hops impart a crisp, clean finish. Hints of sun toasted grain, toffee, and fruity esters compliment the mellow, noble hop aroma.

Can: Cloudy amber-brown with a small, off-white head. Caramel, bread-heel, nut aroma. Taste is sweet, fairly rich caramel malt.... A slight earthy/leafy bitter. Pretty decent.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Pours clear copper with a thin white head. Aromas of overripe banana, caramel, fudge. Taste is sweet, nutty caramel, a hint of that banana again. Sweet finish. Ok.

On draught. Rich caramel malt. Faint floral hops. Clear amber with minimal light khaki head. Taste is biscuit malt, very rich. Moderate low bitterness and a sweet finish. Long a great stand by beer back in the days when good craft was hard to find, I happily give this a few extra point for nastalgia.

Amber color with white head, nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, a bit berry-fruits. Taste is quite caramely, not too bitter, berries, slight sweetness. Low carbonation. Nice Amber Ale!
