Our flagship beer, Loose Cannon wins people over at first smell. The carefully cultivated interplay of Simcoe, Palisade, and Centennial creates a most fragrant IPA - its nose bursts with notes of grapefruit, herbs, and pine. Bitterness is somewhat subdued by the floral quality that pervades the taste. The color is burnished gold, and the mouthfeel is creamy. A strong malt backbone balances out the triple-hopped beer. Its nickname, Hop3, comes from the brewing process: our brewers hop Loose Cannon in the boil, the hopback, and the fermenter. It won a second place CAMRA award at the 2010 Great British Beer Festival.

(Bottle) Amber colour, sligtly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Hoppy nose with orange marmalade, resin, mango, dried pineapple and spices. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of orange marmalade, resin, mango, dried pineapple and a generous resiny/spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA. Very nice.

. Poured amber, nice hops flavor. Maybe too nice, it was pretty overpowering. Nice aroma though.

Opalescent orange colour, moderate sized creamy ecru head; aroma of pine resiny, marmalade, grapefruity and biscuity notes; taste is hop-dominant with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; great IPA; my first pint of beer in the US ever :)

Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma full of caramel, pine and mango, a combination that somehow works. Taste is bitter with a mild hoppy spicyness at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation with a firm malty backbone. Good.

Intense, piney, citrusy, fruity and slightly floral, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, grapefruit, some pineapple, melon, a touch of viola or the like, pale malty background. Taste is crisp, bitter, citrusy fruity and piney hoppy, pale and slightly caramel malty backbone with little residual sweetness, notes of lemon, lemon peel, grapefruit, some pineapple, melon, floral overtones of viola or the like; lingering, bitter, floral finish. Slightly oily, watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Intense, crisp, quite floral - good!
