Bottle from the. Rewery. Swampy, amber pour with a redish hue, and a very quickly dissipating off white head. A very funky, sour aroma. Lots of raspberries, and raspberry juice. Some slight barnyard aromas, and random berries. Quite tart, slight woody flavor, with some decent acidic notes. The funk is very pleasant, and up front. This is a veryice sour ale. I need more.

A hazed pinkish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice raspberry jam with light lactic notes, light Brett, Epsom salts, grapeskins, very nice. In mouth, a smooth mix of lactic acid, lemony notes and raspberry jam, well mixed together, ground cherries, sweet yet complex, well done. Bottle from brewery, bought 2 years ago.

Bottle - Cherry and balsamic. Cloudy copper with a beige head. Cherry and balsamic with some nice rich flowery notes. Pretty nice, lots of berry notes, which is just oxidized raspberry?

330mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a clear reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out shitloads of raspberries, followed by various wild yeasts. Flavour is similar, bringing out much more wild yeast than the nose suggests, giving it lots of funk, along with potent raspberries. The funk slightly outdoes the berries, but this is very fruity. Carbonation is very lively, without detracting in any way. Great stuff.

Nice balance between the elements here for a well-rounded sour. Aroma of raspberry, light bretta and some citrus. The pinot wine is subtle and well-placed here. Pours maroon with good head and lacing. Soft carbonation. Bottle from lcbo that I sat on for a few months.

(330mL bottle from LCBO) Pours a slightly murky pale red-brown, pinkish around the rim, pink-white head is medium, bubbly, short-lived. Aroma sour red fruit, funky, a bit lactic. Flavour is sour fruit at first, mixed up raspberry and sour cherry/vinous character (Pinot barrel?), bit of Brett. Raspberry builds up from the middle on along with some lactic character, somewhat acidic in the middle. Finishes quite dry and clean without a lot of flavour, a little creamy, maybe lightly tannic. Only a little bit of wood, I didn’t get that much barrel from this. Body medium, carb a bit high and soda-like for my taste. This is a good sour but I would’ve liked a bit more barrel and a bit more finish, especially as it’s pricey!

Bottle from HogTownHarry. Hazy russet amber lasting beige head. Sour raspberry. Yeah it’s a good sour. Bit of woodiness. Extremely decent.
