Bottle from Rosauers. Dark golden pour capped with a nice creamy head. Aroma is malty, kind of sweet, some fruity notes too. Taste is also focused on the sweet malts, minor residual hoppiness. Full of flavor, but seems like something is missing.

22oz bottle thanks to derick. Pours out crisp golden topped with a small head. Nose is herbal earthy hops rich malts. Taste is more of the earthy vine leafy hops and some cereal malts.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is bready, perfumy, grainy, herbal, caramel malt; smells like it’s past its prime--can’t find a date anywhere on the bottle. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium bone white lacy head with good retention. Taste is better than the aroma with medium level bitterness backed by some candy corn-like malt sweetness. Still, with that off-putting aroma, this is below average. I’d like to try it fresh from the source. Edit: this really doesn’t hold up. It’s gotta be old. Lowered taste score down to a 4 (from 6) and overall to a 9 (from 12).

Draft - Floral and tropical fruit. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light tropical fruit, orange and lots of resin with a dry bitter finish. Nice for a local.
