Pale reddish-amber, bright. Not much head. Light raspberry. The palate is a basic ale, light plastic, some tart raspberry but the fruit is muted.

Tap. Sir Williams, Ljubljana. Hazy ruby red, smaller white head, mediun lasting. Medium watery raspberry nose, sweet feeling. Gently sweet, medium bitterness, tart finish. Lighter body. Ok, nothing more.

slightly tart. Purple color. Lots of raspberries but not super appealing. I remember this being much better 14 years ago.

Bomber bottle from Ben, was only $2.99. Smell is quite good. Malty, not sweet. Somewhat dull fruit feel to it. Hides alky fairly well. Yes, a little tart, but not in a lambic way. Leaves a little to be desired, yet palatable. Was expecting something a little more. Has a maroon cloudy appearance to the eye.

On tap at Steamworks Burnaby, pours a clear red with a small white head. Nose brings out fresh raspberries, and a touch of wheat. Flavour is quite fruity, with fresh raspberries upfront and with a light Belgian yeast component. Well-balanced and drinkable, though unspectacular. Good one.

Draught at the taproom in Burnaby
Red-amber color with pinkish hue, clean. The aroma is too mild, a bit dusty, not fruity. Dry mouthfeel, a bit too much carbonation; some flavor of refined white sugar, some raspberry, a bit woody and vegetable, with disturbing chicory bitterness in the final. Considering the result (not sweet and syrupy) they probably used real raspberries, but the result is a bit messy, not enough fruity, too dry.

Draft - Raspberry juice. Reddish copper with a thin white head. Raspberry, light bitterness and grain. Not as sweet and I expected, lots of fruit and a pretty bland finish. Something is missing here.
