Draft - Pale malts with a perfumy hop. Clear gold with a rich white head. Tastes just as it smells. Not sure how this is a red, but it does taste better than the others they brew.

Deep amber colour body with hints of ruby and a light tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, some light hops and a bit of bad vinegar. Medium-bodied; Strong maltiness up front fading to a good deep nuttiness. Aftertaste shows a lot of character-good deep tastes throughout. Overall, a good offering-even considering that I hate the style! This one is definitely the best from the bunch at the brewpub. I sampled this beer on draught at the Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma City, OK on 17-November-2005.

Sampler, from 2001 notes.Chocolate malt? Really? Looked more to me like a pale ale, as there was more of a hop overtone than anything else. Other than that, I can't call it much more than average.
