Keg at IAH. It pours golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is pretty clean, sweet, doughy malt, clove, soft fruits, banana and hay. The taste is bitter - sweet, spicy, clove, banana, straw, hay, nougat, peppery spice, soapy citrus, doughy malt, wheat, touch of alcohol and candy. The finish is pretty day and spicy. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A touch sticky on the mouth - feel. A pretty OK wheat ale, but could be a bit more drinkable. Getting through a pint took a while.

Sample at Mongoose vs Cobra. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, citrus and yeast. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, citrus and wheat. The finish is mildly spicy and fruity with a wheaty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Draft - In trying to do something different they have created a Hef. Everything about it is classic Hef and I can’t fault it to much but it is just a Hef.
