Bottle. Golden color with a large head. Aroma is grains and not as much hops as one would think for an IPA, a tad of citrus. Taste was surprisingly missing of hops also. Overall not a bad beer. Not great but it really was a thirst quencher

Bland rye ale, neither dipping enough into IPA or rye beer territory, instead insisting on a biscuity malt heaviness that cancels out any IPA fury. A good IPA for your mother-in-law, I guess.

Pours a murky brownish from a bottle, citrus and pine smell and flavor along with a bit of sour breadiness. Okay beer.

On tap at The Wine Bar Destin. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong fruity malt, rye, citrus. Thin mouth, caramel, rye, toffee, grass, light bitterness, very good.

Rich hazy copper and amber coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of rye (naturally), bright floral hops, alcohol, grain and cleanser - strong and pungent throughout. Medium-bodied; Strong rye and grain flavour at first with a good floral, citrus and piney hop note and a solid light honey sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows the mellow sugars at first but then fades into the more ’natural’ floral hoppiness and of course the grain and rye. Overall, a nice rye-based IPA with a very balanced note and still some nice complexity throughout - great to sample if you like rye-based beers or IPAs with more of a deeper malt profile. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Corner Store (Bait & Tackle) in West Palm Beach, Florida on 30-December-2013 for US$2,39 sampled at home in Washington on 28-August-2014.

Reviewed from notes. Rcvd in trade.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden yellow to orange color with a nice looking one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute.
The smell had a nice allocation of Rye malt to spicy hops.
The taste was mainly spicy with a touch of sweetness to it.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionability about it. The carbonation was nice and sharpness about it.
Overall, this was a pretty well done Rye IPA.

Bottle, Kroger. Pours golden - looks like apple juice with a small white head. Smells of lemon and flowers. Tastes the same.

Poured up on tap at the SweetWater Draft House ATL Airport - Terminal A with a gold body that supports an off white head of foam. The mild tumbler pour aroma offers up some grainy malts and then some nice spicy hoppiness. The taste has some malt sweetness, nice spicy hops and then a rye twang sort of feel. To midway it gets a bit floral here and there but the hop bitterness remains at a pleasing level. Into the finish I start to notice a light citrus candy sensation. Enjoyable product.
