Brewed with 100% Columbus hops this double IPA is an absolute Columbus hop bomb! Its resinous hop character comes through with huge grapefruit zest and pine notes throughout the brew. The big juicy, fruity, citrus hops add a resinous and almost sticky hop presence in the body making the medium body from crystal malts seem even richer and fuller. This is a hop head’s treat! 8.8% ABV, 98 IBU

Has strong layered hops on the nose. Appearance is a nice modest beige head and copper body with strong carbonation. Flavour is heavy hops, oily but not too complex. Finish is oily as well. It’s a fine double IPA but there are many good ones out there.

Location: Draft at Three Aces, 6/9/14
Aroma: The aroma of this beer has lots of grapefruit/citrus zest, caramel, and some pine
Appearance: Clear orange color with a lasting full finger of beige head and some solid lace
Flavor: It has a pretty hoppy flavor, lots of grapefruit, with booze, caramel, and some pine
Palate: It has a medium-plus body, very smooth, some heat, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty enjoyable one, and another quite tasty offering from the IPA series that Green Flash is doing. I'm enjoying this series. Looking forward to trying the future ones.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus/earth. Or maybe pine/earth. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy, piney with a lot of caramel. Almost toffee in the finish, but the finish is definitely hoppy/bitter.

Draft at Thirsty Monk during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Juicy home aroma, some orange and grapefruit especially. Medium sweet flavor with rich grapefruit, pine, light grass and bitter orange rind. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish with more hefty grapefruit punch, some other pithy citrus. Very good.

On tap at YardHouse Boise. Clear golden orange with a short wispy white head. Big piney resiny flavor and lots of lasting IBU bite. A bitter bomb with not quite the fresh hop flavor of the best IPAs
