Tap at the brewpub. Pours reddish amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is mild hop. Body is a bit thin. Carbonation is mild. Nice moderate bitterness. Might pass for English, though it’s a bit malty.

Tap: A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. A nutty and buttery malt aroma, with light British hops. In mouth, a good nutty malt with a good dose of floral hops, mineral notes, medium bodied. Cask version also offered, much smoother in beginning, but developping harshness. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Sampled at the brewpub. Translucent copper amber with a sticky white head. Aroma of ripe fruits. Fruity flavor, apples, pears, a little doughy. Wet, slightly stick finish. Good session beer.
