Dark brown, medium head. The aroma is sort of phenolic, there's a wheaty palate. A touch of dark malt, quite fruity, again maybe some phenols I could do without but they're not that obtrusive. For brewers who don't make German wheats, this isn't as awful as it could be.

Poured from the side pull tap @ Magnet. Guessing this must be some sort of re-release. Dark brown with small off-white head. Feint toasted nuts, light banana esters, simple, average.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subtle notes of cocoa nibs, a little banana and a little clove. Flavour brings out dry cocoa nibs, some wheaty notes, and clove. Quite dry and full-bodied. The cocoa nibs are the most front-and-centre flavour profile. Solid stuff.
