A minimalist white head on a clear golden body. Nose is caramel and tropical fruit. This is a nicely balanced, slightly understated IPA. Citrus and resiny hops, a splash of tropical fruit, dark caramel and sweet malt make up a clean, accessible taste profile. A medium/low carbonation level adds to the smoothness and creamy texture. Very drinkable.

750ml bottle.
Good amber pour, small white head, light lacing on the glass. A good hop presence, some nice pine, and citrus notes with a faint caramel backbone. The hops fade quite a bit in the finish, and leave a medium bitterness that is short lived with a cereal finish. Reminds me alot of an english style pale ale with a north american dose of hops. This would be quite nice on cask i bet.

Can from Loblaws. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried orange peel and caramel. Flavour of light hops, metal and tonic water. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Weak and inoffensive.

Tallboy can from LCBO in Ottawa. Nearly clear copper pour with foamy head. Aroma is nice - orange mango hops and bready malt. Taste trades nuanced hop flavor in aroma for mostly straight bitterness, which is big and lasts. Crisp bitter finish, also brings back the breadiness. Crisp solid IPA with nice aroma.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear amber with a minimal white head that leaves no lace. Strangely for an IPA the nose is mostly toasted malt and toffee with little evidence of hops. Quite sweet and tasting of caramel with only slight hint of bitterness. medium palate with soft carbonation.

Bouteille 750ml.

Big brown wine-looking bottle that does not look like other LB brews. Pours a deep amber colour with a big creamy, off-white head that goes down slow and leaves thick lace. Big hoppy nose with the grapefruit predominant and notes of caramel malt and soap (after breathing). Very smooth velvety texture. The caramel malt comes out more in the taste though. Mild bitterness in the finish and slightly dry. An IPA that is just a tad hoppier than average, but because of this, goes down smoothly and for those who like the caramel malt and its mild sweetness.
