Roast and a light bit of coffee. Black pour with some mocha head. Light bitter end. Very light in flavour, and body is medium at best. Not badly balanced, just not a lot to it. Tap at Curious Cafe. UT.

Dark enough brown body and okay nitro foam. Good coffee aroma, slightly sweet, definitely macro. Taste is sweet coffee, slight chocolate, finishes nitro smooth and chewy. Delivers well, a little simple, but no one will notice.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Black color with small beige head. Simple aroma. Dry mouthfeel, too much carbonation; some flavor of roasted malt and coffee, lightly peppery; correct bitterness.
Not bad, but boring.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dark roasted espresso beans. Flavour brings out intensely dark roasted espresso, with a lingering bitterness from the roast. Not the most complex coffee stout, but I do enjoy coffee and I like this marriage. Good stout, albeit simple.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with a small light brown head. Strong aroma of coffee with hints of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Flavour is dominated by coffee with light, sweeter notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt and a bitter finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft almost flat carbonation.

Dark brown, no head, aroma hints at an inky, coffeeish beer. The beer is fairly light, with a lot of coffee. Malt base is simple and sweet, touch burnt and a touch of chocolate. Good, but comes across as being really basic.

black, small tan head.Roasty coffee nose.Thin mouthfeel, medium coffee flavor. Light lasting bitterness in finish. Lacks carbonation to the point of tasting like a cold lifeless cup of coffee

Bottle - Dark roast coffee, chocolate and roast malts. Jet black with a brown head that is bubbly and dissipates pretty quick. Rich bodied stout with coffee and chocolate notes. Finish is bitter but is balanced with the strong flavors. So much coffee its hard to introduce or make out other flavors, nice if you like coffee.
