Much like Vancouver Island’s aerial firefighters, this twist on a traditional IPA will extinguish your thirst. This Bomber packs a full payload of hop power delivered on target with the smoothness of wheat malt. With a complex hop flavour balanced in flight with notes of fruit and spice, this beer isn’t just for emergencies.

Bottle - Sweet citrus and Belgian yeasts. Hazy yellow with bubbly head. Boozy yeast and bitterness that is a bit astringent. Not particularly refreshing or pleasant.

Very large head like a Belgian ale, with a good wit-style foggy yellow body. NIce coriander and wheat aroma with modest hops. Flavour is strong hoppiness with wheaty notes; this is more of a wit than a "white IPA", or maybe you just get a Belgian wit when you try and make a white IPA. Idunno, but it’s not a bad brew at all.

Drank this walking to downtown Victoria hoping the bored police don’t give me a ticket. Has elements of an IPA and hefeweizen. Pours cloudy blond with some good head and lacing. Aroma has a little citrus, some bread yeast. Really like a hoppy hefeweizen, but a decent hybrid overall. Finishes a little bitter. Carbonation between soft and fizzy. Bottle from brewery.

650 ml bottle. Pours a slightly murky yellow/brown,and medium persistent head. Yeasty aroma with a hint of lemon and spice. Similar taste with a bit more pronounce lemon. Acidic and bitter finish, perhaps a bit strong for this style.

Opaque orange, small white head.Light spicy yeast nose.Tart spicy yeast fore/mid,long bitter hop end which does not fit with this style. Taste is more like wormwood than hops. Not a great example of an emerging style, try Deschutes Chainbreaker instead !!

22 oz. bottle, pours an opaque cloudy golden yellow with a medium white head. Nose is very Belgian, more like a Tripel or a very dry Belgian Ale, with lots of yeast, coriander, citrus peel, some banana and clove - some citrus hops. Flavour is quite dry and yeasty, like a Belgian Ale, with champagne yeast, very dry citrus peel, Belgian spices, and some faint banana - finishes spicy and dry hoppy. High carbonation, very dry all around, yeasty, spicy and bitter. Surprisingly delicious.
