Cloudy, bubbly head, a lot of Simcoe (one of the constituent hops in the Zythos blend) and overripe peach, lots of bitterness, chewy malt up front, a bit boozy, lots of floral dry hops, finishing with a bit of blood orange marmalade. A touch chewy but otherwise, yeah, it reminds me if Dix IPA.

Sparkling amber, small beige head.Nose of brown sugar, fruity notes.Palate seems to be all hop flavor, no noticeable malt.Bitter end of harsh alcohol and hops seems out of place. Nothing seems to mesh.

Cask at Central City Winter Cask Fest '13, pours an opaque, cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of oranges, citrusy hops galore and just enough malt to back. Flavour is full of dry citrus hops, a bit of oranges, and some dry biscuit malts to back. Hugely citrus and pungently orange-like - full-flavoured, with a tropical fruit component as well. Delicious stuff - surprisingly great quality from Dead Frog here.

Bottle from Firefly, Vancouver
Beautiful bright and clean amber color with medium sized compact head; nice lace. There is a moderate aroma of toffee and fruity hops. Round mouthfeel; caramel flavor, light toffee and light crystal malt, but quite dry anyway; very strong bitterness, with evident resins and some tannins; only in the final there is a hint of citrus fruits: bitter orange and cedar, and a light but pleasant earthy note.
This IPA is very solid, clean, well brewed; good, to be tasted by half glasses.

Draft - Malty sweetness with a bit of pine. Clear amber with a thin head. Malty and resin with little else of note, a bitterness and generally out of balance. Nothin really good here.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark orange/amber with light head. Aromas of malts, light citrus, a little caramel and metallic hints. Pine/cedar flavor up front, malt in the middle, bitter finish. OK but not great.
