Orange, biscuit malt, pine, quinine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small white head. Very sweet orange, biscuit malt, and strong bitter pine, grapefruit peel, and quinine flavor. Very sweet start with a very bitter finish. Not for me.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazed gold with a white head. Sweet juicy grapefruit aroma, floral, pine, pineapple. Flavor mixes the pineapple and grapefruit up front, again nice and juicy and fairly sweet, floral and pine hops serving as backup. This one's super good.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A massive fruity resinous nose, tropical, some heat. The flavor is big sweet tropical notes as well, pineapple, some toast, pretty big heat though not taking much away from the drinkablility. A sort of prickly pear sweet stickiness. Quite nice. Huge beer.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 1/18/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, passion fruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, honey, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, passion fruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, honey, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, passion fruit, lemon/orange rind, light pepper, pine, honey, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and fairly grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with a moderate warmth lingering after the finish with zero booziness. Overall this is an outstanding big imperial IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the enormous ABV. This was amazingly dry and well attenuated on the malt sweetness for the 15% ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.
