This Bavarian style ale will leave your tastebuds in a quandary, feeling as though they've just had a Hotel Rendezvous. A tryst with something less familiar, subtle banana esters play in tandem with clove phenols, and a wheat base. Enjoy this fresh unfiltered wheat beer with people you love or people you want to love!

Hazy yellow with a large fluffy head. Dry and musty with Sweettart candies. Medium length finish and body. Love the can, the beer not so much.

Can: Hazy yellow with a short white head. Clove, banana, wheat scent. Taste is sweet banana, cloves, wheat malt.....quite a bit of clove, actually. Fairly solid.

Sample at Upstate Craft Beer. Hazy straw color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of wheat, banana and malt. Light-bodied with a wheaty character and flavors of banana, bready malt and a bit of spice. The finish is wheaty with a short fruity aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Hazy yellow color, clove and slight bubblegum aroma. Taste is sweet wheat, some banana and clove with more like a light, slightly sweet Pilsner finish. A little funk at the end like a Hefe.

Nice slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed, oranges and curacao, some light cloves and bubble gum and a touch of pure yeast on the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very wheatie flavours at first with a dry kick then showing some coriander seed freshness, a little bit of fruits and sugars and ending with an orange and curacao bite with some light spiciness. Aftertaste is very dry, but also pretty refreshing with the pure wheat and yeast noticeable as well, without much bitterness, funk nor astringent flavours at all. Overall, a nice and relatively mellowed german-styled wheat with some good flavours and smooth dryness, but nothing really in terms of complexity at all. Nice to try, but perhaps I was looking for just a touch more - still not a bad beer to sample! I sampled this pint-sized, sixteen ounce can, purchased from GrapeVine in Fort Mill, South Carolina on 21-August-2017 after watching the Eclipse for US$2,55 sampled at home in Washington on 16-September-2017.
